Exam Board: VTCT: Hair and Beauty

This qualification has been designed to use the context of Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy as a vehicle to support the learner to develop broad and comprehensive understanding of this sector but more importantly of core subject knowledge and study skills that will support their progression.

Content Overview

There are four main units:

1. Understand the Hair and Beauty Sector
2. Hair and Beauty research project
3. Hair and Beauty Science
4. Responding to a Hair and Beauty brief

Assessment:

One external exam.

Three externally set and internally moderated assignments.

All four assessments must be passed to achieve the qualification.
