Message for applicants for September 2020
Please be reassured that everyone who has applied to Scarborough Sixth Form College will have a place at the college in September. If you haven’t already had a consultation, we will be ringing you to do this over the telephone.
Exam results
With exams cancelled we understand that you may be concerned that your current predicted grades are not a true reflection of what you would have achieved in your GCSEs. We always take into account personal circumstances and look at all students individually, so please try not to worry.
S6F preview
At the moment we are hoping that we will be able to run our taster day on the 1stJuly. We will inform you if this won’t be possible and are aiming to put some example work for each subject on our website to help you prepare for September and to give you more of an idea of what different subjects involve.
Enrolment
We are still planning to enrol students on Thursday 20thAugust, Friday 21stAugust, Monday 1stSeptember and Tuesday 2ndSeptember. Whatever your results are, please come and speak to us.
Student portal
You should have received a login for the student portal with your consultation invite. We will put relevant information for you on the portal so please keep intermittently logging in. If you need help with logging in, please contact Admissions.
